WHAT IS A GHOST WALK?
A ghost walk is basically a guided walking tour, where you will visit sites of historical hauntings. In the case of this ghost walk, you will hear spooky stories, enjoy some dark humour and take in magnificent views of our haunted, old city.
HOW MUCH IS THE TOUR?
Adult tickets are £10, child tickets are £6 (subject to change)
HOW DO I BOOK TICKETS?
Click to book via the website right here. You can book elsewhere, but this will always be the best price.
WHEN ARE THE TOURS?
You will find current running times HERE.
There are additional tours scheduled over school holidays and of course Halloween.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
We aim for 90 minutes, but it might be a few minutes either side.
WHERE DOES THE TOUR START?
The tour starts outside 1331 Bar & Restaurant on Grape Lane, YO1 7HU.

WHERE DOES THE TOUR END?
The tour will end at the Shambles or the foot of Clifford's Tower, weather and foot traffic dependent.
IS IT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?
Absolutely. Imagine Horrible Histories, but with a little more innuendo for the grown ups.
ARE DOGS WELCOME?
A hundred times yes. All well behaved dogs are welcome!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
This is an outdoor event. We recommend dressing to suit the weather on the day of your tour, whether that is blazing sunshine or a howling gale. Sensible shoes are always recommended.

WHERE CAN I PARK?
Castle Car Park is ideal. If you arrive after 6pm, it is £4 for the evening.

An excellent question, with various answers. We suggest 1331 York for pre tour drinks and food.
The tour ends within easy walking distance of numerous pubs, bars and restaurants.
Ask your guide, they can send you off in the right direction.
